  • as a polymer that is not a high molecular weight polymer that has lung overloading potential (within the meaning given by the Industrial Chemicals Categorisation Guidelines)
  • as a component of lubricants

If the Inventory terms of listing for a chemical only contains chemical identity information, the chemical can be manufactured or imported into Australia without telling us first, if the Australian importer/manufacturer is currently registered with us. The chemical may be subject to other Australian Government and State or Territory Government regulations.

If the Inventory terms of listing for a chemical also contains a specific information requirement, defined scope of assessment, conditions of introduction or use, or if the chemical has restrictions on importation and manufacture, you must check each one and comply.
